only getting hot water for a short time on hot cold.no water on warm cold or cold cold

Swap connectors on the water inlet valve solenoids and select hot/cold. If no cold water, inlet valve is bad or screen clogged or no cold water supply. If you do get cold water, ATC is likely bad.
