Dryer operation seems normal for a few minutes. Then blows the fuse on one side of the power line. One section of the switch encased on the motor terminal connection has burned contacts points. Is my diagnosis of a bad motor OK? Is your motor part no. AP3094245 OK for this model serial no. MP3825583?
I will order the motor when you provide the answers these questions. Thank you

Is my diagnosis of a bad motor OK? I would agree with you since you have found a problem with it.
One thing I would check though is the heater. Some times when they get hot they can sag and touch the case. Depending where it touches it could blow the breaker. You would most likely see an arc mark on the inside of the heater case. Try running the unit on air fluff if it still blows then I would go with the motor.
Is your motor part no. AP3094245 OK for this model serial no. MP3825583? This I cannot answer as I do not work for AppliancePartsPros, best to give them a call. |
