I have a roper dryer that has a timer assembly part number WP8299781. I read that it can be much cheaper to replace the timer motor instead of the whole assembly. How do I find out what motor I need?

The motors for the timers are not sold separately. If you can provide a picture from the face and the side I might be able to send you one from my used parts box for the price of the postage. Hi, **The motors for the timers are not sold separately.** This is correct for almost all of the time. Motor timer motors do not come separately. LINK> Timer Assembly. jeff sr. |

Unfortunately, manufacturers no longer provide timer motors separately from the timer assemblies in most cases. When they do, they list it in the parts diagram of the model number in question.
