The light in the dryer quit working and it isn't he bulb. The dryer (and the door switch) work fine, just not the light. Is there another switch for the light?

Hi, Model#? https://www.applianceaid.com/model-number.php Some model# helps. **The light in the dryer quit working and it isn't he bulb** You tested the bulb? You tried another bulb? **The dryer (and the door switch) work fine** How did you check the door switch? Was the wiring also checked? Was the light socket checked? **Is there another switch for the light?** Normally no, but we may learn more once we see what model#/style yours is. jeff sr. |

The door switch on most front load dryers are made with a common , Normally closed , and a normally open terminal. You should check the switch and the wiring connections leading to it. The connection tab inside the light assembly would also be suspect.
