GE refrigerator model TFX22KPDA AA. Ice maker not working. Ice maker motor is running but the tray does not fill with water. I checked the water line to the ice maker and it is clear. The water dispenser in the door is working fine. I pulled the cover and checked the micro switch for the water on the ice maker and it is working. I checked the continuity on the water valve solenoids and had continuity. I replaced the valves thinking there could be trash. I am still not getting water to the ice maker.

bd, Could be a low water pressure issue, especially if you have a Reverse Osmosis water system feeding the fridge. (Which might indicate an R.O. system problem) Also you say the ice maker "motor is running"...but can you force a harvest cycle to see if the gear is actually driving the ejector blades? That's a possible cause. Also, the icemaker has a thermostat that will stop the icemaker from working if its bad.....or if the temps inside the freezer are not cold enough for the thermostat to give the icemaker the ok to make a new batch of ice. Just a few ideas....
