This fridge is less than 6 months old. The ice maker has worked fine up until today. This is one of those side by sides that has the ice cube holder on the door and the Ice maker is inside the freezer sitting above it. Today day the ice holder was low on ice, so I looked in the actual ice makee to see if there might be an ice cube sitting up there holding things from dropping. We've had this happen in the past. There was nothing up there so then I stuck my finger down in the tray and there wasn't any water in there. The water through the door works fine. Any ideas what I should look for?

Your water fill to the ice maker is frozing up. black tube on your right. Also lower temp in freezer.

After posting, I got my wife's hair drier out and held it near the water inlet. I didn't notice any change at that time, but latter there was water in the icemaker. I have taken AIMANNY's advice and raised the temp by 1 degree, rather than the zero suggested in the manual. I guess time will tell if takes care of the problem.:)
