KitchenAid Standalone Ice Maker Not Filling With Water After a Few Cycles

I've got a 2007 model 18" Kitchenaid (Whirlpool) standalone under the counter ice maker.
Basically the problem I'm having is that after a few slabs of ice are generated, the water pan is not filling when the unit calls for water to flush the pan at the beginning of the harvest cycle. After harvesting is complete, the ice machine will just go into its freeze cycle again with a low water pan and the pump will eventually aerate due to low water.
If I shut the machine off for 30 minutes or so, I'll get water again but now I potentially have backed up ice slabs on the cutter grid to contend with.
Right now I suspect either the water level sensor, control board or the water pump might be bad. If anyone could provide any additional troubleshooting steps, that would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Jesse
