It does not make it in to the ice maker at all. I can see that the water freezes in the line going to my ice maker and then floods my freezer. I end up with a frozen waterfall in the back of my freezer. I am able to get cold water through the door. Thanks for taking the time to help everyone! Aloha, Jane

Most likely the problem with your refrigerator is a bad water inlet valve on the back of the fridge.
