Our 3 year old LG side-by-side drips water at the ice maker and it forms a big ice blob around the tray. The ice tray does not catch the water drip and also look to be twisted somewhat in shape. Any easy way to fix this drip and blob of ice?

possibly the water valve for the icemaker is not completly closed when not energised, so water continually trickles up water line into icemaker, empty icemaker head of ice+shut off power to icemaker+ see in next 24 hours if water comes to ice maker, shoud not if power is off to icemaker, if water does come .replace water valve
