Hello,
I have a GE Profile frig that is leaking water from the side of the ice maker and forming ice. Have read it could be the water valve or ice maker and want to verify before I order parts. Checked fill cup and water line leading into ice maker and all looked okay. Water pressure seems okay. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Image here also. Thanks!

Stam,

Based on your photo and post description, I'd reccomend you replace the ice maker assembly,

Part number: AP4345120
Part number: AP4345120

It appears your icemaker is overfilling and leaking down the shut off bale arm lever shaft.

The water level sensor or printed circuit board most likely have a circuitry problem.

Good Luck,
:) :) :)

Mike,

Good deal, I think you'll be a lot more satisfied going in that direction.

We'll keep an eye out for your next post.
