oven has quit working, the the clean cycle will work. i have taken the igniter out plug it into 110 volts it glows bright red almost white can the igniter still be bad??

What happens when you turn the oven on and set it to BAKE? Does the igniter start to glow?

nothing, only the clean cycle will work ran that also

Set the control to bake, check the schematic, and check the bake output wire from the control, if no voltage, you probably have a bad control module. Before replacing, check the resistance of the oven sensor, if way off it's room temperature resistance( should be around 1Kohm) replace it. Click on your Model # to get the part #.

got around to measuring the ohms on the digtal meter it reads .22 k ohms

Sounds bad, just order a new one by clicking on your model # and getting the part #.

the local maytag dealer had the igniter changed it out still want come on

You changed the oven sensor or the igniter??

changed igniter #12400035 i think i read the ohms on the igniter and and posted, not the oven sensor!!! took out the oven sensor it read 1000 ohms
