couldn't take the wife's stares and comments any longer, gave in, called the repair man.yep it has a igniter in the bottom very well hid, he replaced it, oven working.see how long it takes to get a pie now!!!

In your post from 10/11/07 you wrought "the local maytag dealer had the igniter changed it out still want come on". So the new igniter was bad or ...

top was good that the one i changed out:mad: , the bottom igniter was bad after we changed out the bottom one it's working thanks all
