Dear Rol,
If the dryer does not run it could be a number of things including: timer, start switch, door switch, thermal fuse, high limit thermostat, cycling thermostat or motor.
The start switch, door switch, thermal fuse, high limit thermostat and cycling thermostat can all be checked for continuity (they should have continuity if not that part could be the problem)
If you have the knowledge to read wiring diagrams you can find the 2 leads from the timer that supply the power out of the timer remove the wires and set the timer to the timed cycle and you should have continuity through those 2 wires if not suspect the timer.
If you hear a loud buzzing or if you can "help" the drum start to turn it could indicate a bad motor.
If the board gets hot very quickly when you try to start it may indicate the power is stopping there and is defective.
