Dryer will not heat. Otherwise works. The ignitor did not look damaged. Any ideas?

Take the back off the dryer, and of course unplug it, and there will be a white thin part, about an inch and a half long, by a half inch wide. That could very well be your culprit. You could jump it out, and see if it works. Or ohm it out, if you have a meter. If you do jump it out, don't run the dryer like that. That fuse is a saftey!!!! Tom ApplianceEducator.com
