while washer fills,machine starts to agitate...should only agitate after water level has been reached

Open control panel and disconnect pressure hose from back of temperature switch. Blow into hose to make sure it's clear, reconnect hose. If it's loose, cut minimal amount of hose from end and reconnect. If it still does the same thing, replace the switch. Whirlpool W10248240 Temperature Switch - AppliancePartsPros.comEric

thank you eric...wasn`t sure if problem was in timer or pressure switch...i`ll get back with you with the result...thanks again for your help Eric...scott.
