I have a Maytag Centennial washer 3 yrs old that the drum appears to wobble more than normal and when I opened the lid I noticed it was sitting very low as I stood there it began to raise itself in short increments until it was back at the height it should be.

In the model number you posted one or two characters are missing. The complete model number is very important. You can find the model and serial number label under the lid (on the right hand side) or on the back of the control panel.

He means this number "MVWC200XW" is missing at least one digit at the end of it.

It could be MVWC200XW0 or MVWC200XW1 or MVWC200XW2 or MVWC200XW3.

That last digit can be very, very important.

Thank you I will see if I can find it. I will have to wait for my son to come over and help me move it out to look at the back.
