Hello- I'm getting an F5 error code when using the cooktop after about 30 seconds of plugging the stove in and also getting a F20 when trying to use the main oven. The double oven works fine and the cooktop works even though the F5 code is on the dials. Model PLEFMZ99EC... Any help would be awesome. Thanks

Sorry for the delay. The "F5" error code on the element electronic control system (ESEC) means:"A harness, mother board or user interface board has failed" while the "F20" error code shown by the Electronic Oven Control means:"Communication failure between EOC and ESEC system. The first thing I would do in such situation is check the harness and each connection. You can find the complete instructions in the Service manual. Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for FRG PLEFMZ99ECA | AppliancePartsPros.comGene.

Thanks Gene,
I'll start with the harness and cross my fingers.

Do you happen to know F30 error code for fridgidaire oven/range? Stovetop works/ oven creates code, digital clock dim. Thanks, Tom
