Recently I purchased a new dryer and had it delivered. They would not hook it up because they said it was not to fire code. Currently I have a hose that comes directly from a hole in the wall and hooks to the flexible hose coming from my dryer. I ordered a dryer dock to hook to. Is this what is necessary to make it fire proof?

As long as you dont have any plastic hose for the vent, you should be fine.
