My side by side fridge /freezer stopped cooling and i did the tap test on the thermostat and it came on and the freezer got down to about -8 but the fridge was about +50. When it turned off it wouldn't start without tapping on the thermostat so i purchased a new one from you. Now it starts and the freezer still gets real cold but the fridge is still warm, going thru your threads i started checking more and found the air baffle door closed. I ran the test you have posted and when the door is closed it has continuity on the 2-3 terminals and not on 1+2 or 3+6. with the thermostats in the normal settings.
I turned the new refrigerator thermostat off and the baffle door opens and the1+2 terminals show 14 volts the 2+3 show no continuity and the 3+6 has
continuity.
