Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/9/2012(UTC) Posts: 1		I got done using the oven and turned it off. I started smelling something hot so I looked in the oven. The broiler was on. The only way to get it to turn off is by killing the breaker. Any ideas?

Sounds like the relay contacts that control the broiler are welded shut. I am assuming that the broiler is on full high heat.

Sounds like the relay contacts that control the broiler are welded shut. I am assuming that the broiler is on full high heat. Also could be that the electronics that control the broil relay are always on.
