I have a heating element stop working on me. After some troubleshooting I found that one of the terminal connector as well where it connects to the element seemed to be fried and no longer connected to the element. So I went online a purchased a replacement element. It looks like I might have to add some wire to reconnect a new terminal connector. I have a few questions: 1. Since the terminal connector is fried is the whole wire bad or can i just add additional wire to make the new connection? if so what type wire can i use? i read the wire is 18 AWG. 2. Also can I use any 18 AWG terminal connector? or do i need to use a specific one. I have added photos if anyone needs to see the damage. Any answers would be helpful. Thanks njbaker7 attached the following image(s):

Hi.
You have to use the hi - temperature 18 AWG wires and connectors.
Thank you.
