Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/28/2013(UTC) Posts: 2		Hi there (Gene?) We used the self cleaning feature of our oven for the first time ever. Had a little trouble with the locking lever and its possible that the internal mechanism which allows heating was damaged. (I can post an image if that helps) In any event, the lower coil does not heat up any longer. Top works fine. All physical connections are intact and connected. Can you please offer your expertise on how I can repair? Many thanks, Paul

The model number you posted is incorrect. Please verify and repost it. Gene.

Additionally, I am posting a picture of the oven lock assembly. I have a feeling something is broken/missing. Perhaps a spring? Thank you again for your help. If the heating element itself is good and there is nothing wrong with the wires then the problem is a bad control board.
