The ice maker works but does not dispense water. I replaced the water filter. There is no water at the union/elbow at the bottom of the freezer door. I can here a humming sound when the water lever is depressed.

Disconnect the water line where it comes out of the water inlet valve on the back of the unit and see if water comes out there when you try the dispenser. That valve may be bad. One side of it can work and the other not.
