the cycle signal buzzer comes on before the clothes are dry.the timer seems to be ok. could this be the cycle thermostat? if so where is it located? jim

You probably should check the buzzer switch first, located in the control panel.

Hi Jim,
According to the "Use and Care guide" during the cool down portion of the Permanent Press cycle, the audible signal will sound intermittently.
If this is not the issue then the timer has to be replaced due to the buzzer is operated by the timer.
If the buzzer is not important to you then just turn it off.
In order to provide the right part number for the timer I need the serial number of the dryer.
