just bought new igniter and it still does not work -no clicking sound- strangely when you put the igniter on for the next burner -this igniter starts clicking -so in order to light this burner yu have to light the burner next to it -so i would say the igniter does work but indirectly ...in other words if you want to light this broken burner - (since the gas comes out but no clicking sound ) yu need to light another burner first -i know its not the end of the world but i did buy a new igniter it would be nice if this worked on its own like it was supposed to

The issue is likely with the switch on the valve shaft, not the igniter. Each valve has a small switch that, when the valve is turned on, energizes the spark module so the igniters will spark. I suspect that switch is faulty. May I please have your model number so I am able to provide you with accurate, model specific information?

Thank you! Number 3 in the picture below is the igniter switch. I have posted a link to that part below. I agree that the original igniter was probably okay.

one more thing the warmer draw on this unit does not close properly- just bought a new rail from you and that was not the problem -it might be (has to be) the female rails -cant for the life of me understand why the draw does not closse all the way -mid way the draw jams -are those bering glides supposed to move or be stationary ? hard to see because you cant see what is jamming the slide warmer door
