The oven on my Viking range isn't working; it's been "dying" for a while in that when I turn it on, sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. The day I had the appliance guy here, it worked. He told me to replace the temperature knob, which I did. Still only worked occasionally and now is not working at all. When I turn it on to bake, I hear the flame catch and then I hear 2 series of 3 clicks and then it all stops. Nothing.

I also hear clicking on the range burners and I understand that's probably due to dirty igniters but at least they usually light.

Could the oven problem be dirty igniters, broken igniters or something altogether different?

Is this a job I can do myself? I'm great at following directions but otherwise have no repair skills!

The oven spark electrode (spark rod) is not rectifying flame. Remove all racks and the oven base pan and verify that what you're hearing as initial flame is actually transferring across the whole burner. Low flame will result in the oven not recognizing flame and re-attempting a few times before locking out. If the flame is good on the burner after the initial igntion, the DSI board has probably failed.
