Washer shakes so much during spin cycle that it hits the side walls. There's alot of play in the drum.

Need the correct model number of your washer. Usually on nameplate under lid on tub rim or on back of washer.

Is the "play in the drum", play in the inner tub relative to the outer tub or the outer tub? If inner tub, remove agitator and check the drive block. If outer tub, remove the cabinet and check suspension springs, placement of skate plate and/or damper pads on skate plate and base assembly.
