Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 2/26/2011(UTC) Posts: 8		I just got a used roper top load washing machine about 5 yrs old or more. The tub seems to sag to one side. I checked the springs and they are all there. The machine washes fine but spins violently in the spin cycle. I am pretty handy but am not an appliance pro. Why is it spinning out of control? How do I fix it? Any help is appreciated. thanks. Hexster (A hands-on learner)

From the top I can move it around and it seems to "click" in to place but that technique goes out the window when running. Other than the springs, is there anything else holding it centered/upright? Any other suggestions? Thanks. Hexster

Look at the front of the washer, if the tub is tilting one way, your skateboard is still not sitting right.
