Hello, I checked the ohms on the motor connector: orange to blue, orange to white, black to red, black to violet and yellow to orange then I checked the harness connector yellow to white and only read 1 ohm, I believe the coil is reading open any other advice or checks I can perform. The lid switch is good, the belt is good, checked the transmission and its good installed a new timer switch, your help is greatly appreciated, Wife is losing faith in my mechanical skills trying to show I still got it, ha ha

I assume the washer filled since you say it won't agitate and it must be full to go into agitate. If you do have power to the washer, does the motor make any sound (humming)? If not, sure sounds like lid switch if motor windings check out. You should not read anything from motor harness connector yellow to white (motor unplugged). Are you sure your reading 1 ohm or is it reading infinity (open)? When you place it in spin mode, does the timer advance on it's own? I don't have your exact wiring diagram, can you provide a clear hi-res photo of it? Should be behind the control panel.

I'm not trying to be funny back but yes I have power, I can hear a humming sound I advance the timer to spin or agitate and it won't , now not to sound like a dummy but I working out of my garage does there need to be water in the tub because there is not. The machine is not connected to any water supply:o

Eric, the motor does not make any noise, I'm reading 1 ohm in the open( infinity), the timer does advance. Having trouble uploading a photo, how do check continuity on the lid switch?;)

To check the lid switch, unplug the washer, check continuity between the power plug neutral (wide blade) and the orange wire at the motor connector. Should read zero ohms (short) with lid closed.

Checked continuity on the lid switch cannot get 0 ohms.:D

Sounds like you have a faulty lid switch however it looks like you have a double pole type? Need to see your wiring diagram to help any further.
