My washer will not drain. I took the front panel off to see if I could find the problem. Nothing stood out at me, no loose wires nothing in the drain lines. I pulled the drain motor to check it and it works fine. The only other thing I can think of is the timer. Thanks for your help in advance.

OK so I finally found the problem. It was the lid lock/switch. If this part goes bad it will not let the washer drain or go into the spin cycle. This washer would let the agitate cycle work with the lid up but it has to be down to drain or spin.

yes Frigidaire doesn't brake the tub at the end of spin they lock the lid till it's safe to open lid. The switch making contact is what supplies the motor with power to spin
