I have a Frigidaire side by side. Over this past weekend I had to get into the freezer to unfreeze the drain plug. After I have put it all back together, now the front panel will not work. I get no ice, water, or light. The ice maker is still making ice though so I suspect it may be electrical. Any suggestions on where to start?

At the bottom of the freezer door going thru the hinge is the wiring harness for the dispenser system. that harness should plug into another harness right there in the same area. Check that plug. Either that or you have a broken wire which if it's in the door would mean a new door, since the harness is molded into the door.

Hi FixingIt, The first thing I would check is the dispenser switch (#125 on the controls break down diagram) on the freezer control panel. - The part number for the dispenser switch is AP2110937 Here are the break down diagrams for the Frigidaire refrigerator Model FRS24ZSGB0Gene.

Where is this located? In the back or in the freezer compartment?

I found the spot, but that was not it. It was the wiring harness at the bottom of the freezer door. Two of the leads were not connected so I spliced them and viola. Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm glad you were able to fix it.
