Washer is making like a squeaky noise during washing and spinning cycles sounds like it might be coming from transmittion or bearings.

As you might imagine it is somewhat difficult for us to properly diagnose a noise because the main way we do so is to listen to it, and try to determine the problem from the type of noise and the location. On a Forum we just cannot do that but here are some thoughts I don't think it is likely the bearing, and I would start by changing out the belt, an easy and inexpensive fix. If that does not solve things, try to see if it is the pump. Maytag redesigned this pump, and probably had a reason to do so. The pump turns all the time so that would explain the noise in both the agitate and spin cycles. Here is a tech bulletin on the pump. http://www.servicematters.com/m...rary/docs/TDL-0106-B.pdf
