Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/19/2017(UTC) Posts: 1		I know this is a common question and I've watched umpteen Youtube vids and read as much as I can find. The symptoms are that the freezer clicks, the compressor hums for about 10 secs and then clicks off. When I found it doing this this weekend the compressor was quite warm/hot to the touch. I believe the resistance across the pins is correct. New start relay is what I'm thinking. I cannot find the part though! The compressor is a ZEL HDL140D. Should I just go with a 3 in 1? Which model is recommended? I also read conflicting on whether it can be left permanently. Thoughts? I think the freezer is a rebranded Haier sold as Idylis from Lowe's. Appreciate any advice.
