no temperature; freezer compartment dropped down to 65 degrees and no refrigeration on refrigeration side. the fan was removed and replaced and compressor still did not come on What next? Is it worth fixing?

What's running, anything? If nothing running, you may have a stuck defrost timer, if your fridg has one, or a blown out adaptive defrost pc board in the fridg control housing. If you have a meter, check for voltage to the compressor, if none, one of the above items is probably bad either that or the cold control.
