I replaced the start relay and capacitor and it ran for two weeks then shut down again. I tested the relay and capacitor and they tested fine. I unplugged it and waited a day and it started and ran for about 8 hrs. then after defrost mode wouldn't restart. I unplugged it and repeated the same scenario again. after shut-down it is hot and makes a clicking sound then shuts down after 5 seconds. The coils are clean and all the fans are running... I was told it might be the head-pressure in the compressor. The compressor tests were good...

If the start relay is receiving 120VAC when the compressor stops operating, the compressor has failed and would require an EPA-certified technician to repair the sealed system.
