simple question - have received both bake/broil elements - ready to install - have turned off circuit breakers and stove does not work - cannot get to the plug on the stove without pulling it out - cannot move this stove - is it safe to work on it with just the circuit breakers set to off?

is it safe to work on it with just the circuit breakers set to off? I doubt anyone will answer this because if the wiring is not done correctly then it is not safe. So if someone says yes and you electrocute yourself then a lawyer might be after that someone.
So all I can say is that it could be.
Also if both elements went out at the same time then I doubt it is an element problem as the odds of them both failing at the same time is slim to say the least.
You did not include a model number so I have no idea what type of unit this is. |
