Hi,
Thanks for the great info found in this tread. I was wondering if someone could post a document here explaining how to test and replace the pump for my GE washer model WBVH6240. Under "test mode", for t02 I got errors E23, E30 and E31. Based on that, I test t05 and my pump does the humming sound but I don't see any water being pumped out (and yes, I do have some water in the washer since it was not draining - I just removed enough water to enter to "test mode" but still left some to test the pump).
I already cleaned the inside of the 3" in diameter cap found in the pump but I haven't taken the pipes off yet from it. I'll do it after I get directions of how to do this so I don't mess anything up. Hoping that it's just more debris inside the pipes conecting to the pump. Over $100 for a new pump is no fun.
Some background here: this problem started today after we got hit here by major thunderstorms with lots of lightning, the whole 9 yards. The power went down while the washer was on... and after power came back the washer stopped draining.
Thanks in advance!
Leo.

I found a great step by step guide of how to remove the pump from my washer machine at this place: Fixing the GE WBVH6240 front-loading washing machine with Hanning pumpI followed the instructions and was able to take the pump out. And as many here already mentioned, yes, I had major debris on the pump preventing it from doing its job. All cleaned and all working fine now. Thanks for the great info posted in this tread and the link I mentioned above. Btw, I looked everywhere inside my washer machine and there was no sign of the tech sheet that was supposed to be there. For those ones with the same problem, here is the link to a copy of it and I'm also attaching it to this post. http://www.applianceaid.com/pdf/GEwasherFL2.pdfThanks again. Leo.

Codes were E70,E31,E23. Would not tumble or spin in t10 or t11 modes. 8 monthes ago I had to replace the door boot (grey gasket) there was alot of water at the bottom of machine and control board was very moist.

The error codes E61 & E64 both point to a problem with the door lock and/or its switches. According to the Tech sheet posted by Leo, you have to check the door switches and solenoid as well as the wiring and connections between the door lock and main control board. Any error codes with the used control board are distrusted in such situation.
