You probably have this fixed by now, but... I made sure the water level was drained and the cycle was completed, then unpluged the machine for 30 seconds, plugged it back in and then...
Pressed "signal"
then "delay start"
"signal"
delay-start".

The door will lock and you should see t01 in the display.

I have a front load GE washer. In running the test, in t02, I got error code E54..No motor response. I ran test t10, nothing just beeps twice, same with test t11. I went back to t03 and on the INV (inverter) it just had ---, no numbers. Is it the inverter? Is it the software? Is there something else to try?

Thanks,
Jonathan

I have ran through the test modes. No error codes present. T10, T11, T14 Drum will not turn. Checked voltage to inverter, it's good 120vac. Readout motor windings and sensor, all good. Did main board reset proceedure, didn't help. The only time the drum will turn is when drain & spin cycle is first started. It will rotate both directions about a half turn each way, unlock then lock door, will do a very slow spin rotation of apx 4-5 turns then stops. At this time the inverter is buzzing.
To me, everything is pointing to the inverter. I work with aircraft electronics, differing to the guys with appliance experience.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Sounds like you are correct and the inverter is the culprit.

I have a WBVH6240. I have read all the posts before this one and have a question. My washer first came up with a E38 dispenser code. I have cleared it. It would sometimes go thru the cycle right and sometimes not. I ordered the dispenser diverter/motor and installed it. Now the machine, when started, will lock the door, roll back and forth a couple times, unlock the door, then lock back up and rotate the dispenser dial to wash, add water and then will not tumble or spin any more. It sounds like it goes thru all the cycles, drain and add water etc. but just doesn't turn any after the beginning. Question is--wouldn't the fact that the motor rocks back and forth in the beginning show that the inverter and motor are ok? Thinking for some reason maybe the problem in the beginning was realy the timer board. Just thought I would check before testing the inverter and so forth. I have also done the tests on tumble and spin and nothing happens.
Thank you!

Run the washer in the Service Test mode and post the results.

Thank you for the response. I guess let me start over. I think I have had 2 separate issues. Hopefully not 3. The first one was that the machine would not always cycle right. Seems like when it didn't the dispenser needle would go to bleach in the very beginning of a color wash cycle. It would stop at 44 min and not go any further. I could hit the start pause button and it would go again until 38 min. and stop again. I would just shut it off and start all over. Sometimes, when restarting a cycle, if I tapped on the dispenser diverter/motor the needle would go to the wash/soap compartment first and the cycle would go right. I always had drum rotation! I came up with a E38 error so I ordered a dispenser diverter/motor and installed it. After I did that is when immediately the motor would only do the rock back and forth at the beginning of the cycle and the door would lock back up and no more turning the drum. However when it did the machine did what sounded like it ran thru the whole cycle by draining and adding water, like a rinse, and so forth thruout the 1hr 14min. cycle. I have checked the ohms on the motor 3 wires and they are about 6-7 ohms. I plugged a volt meter into the red and blue wires on doing the t10, t11, t14 test and I DO have 120V on the wires but no rotation on the drum. Doesn't seem like it should be connected but when I put the dispenser motor on then the other problem started which now sounds like the inverter. Also now when testing with a new dispenser motor/diverter it still goofs up sometimes. See below.I have printed out the tests for all below. The results were
to1--03
to2--E00
to3--cod 100, EE 013, INV 095
to4-- 012 123 234 345 456 567 678 789 890 901 (cycles all the lights)
to5--P the pump runs abt 1 min.
to6--Went thru all the levels correct. Showed E, F, NL, OF and then pumped out.
to7--display showed 55 then heated to 57 and pumped out. Seemed right.
to8--says HOT drain ran a little with hot water and hit Power & it drained out.
to9--shows CLD ran the drain a little then cold water. Hit power and it drained.
t10--shows TT and nothing else happens. No drum turn. Did have 120V at the red and blue wires.
t11--shows 0 ran the drain pump a little and nothing else happens. No rotation of drum. Did have 120V at the red and blue wires.
t12--did cycle the dispenser. HOWEVER - SOME of the times I would go thru all cycles 4 or 5 times, it would pass up position 1, prewash, and went to the #2 wash position first then ran water until hit start and it went thru the rest. Sometimes it stops at prewash and runs water. Display shows correctly when testing.
t13--didn't do.
t14--showed 0. the drain pump ran but no drum rotation. Did have 120V at the red and blue wires.
