I have a side by side whirlpool refrigerator and the ice maker has stopped as well. I have switched the valves and the hoses and have found that the valves both are working. The door switch did allow water to flow into the ice maker, so the valve was working fine. When I opened the freezer door I pushed the flap on the left side and observed the flashing light stop and remained on, but did not flash. My first thought was could it be the sender or the receiver or is there another switch somewhere like with the cold water dispenser. What could the problem be, maybe the ice tray and ice dispenser. Is there some way to test the sender and receiver with an ommeter.
Thanks for any info Beau

Hi Beau,
If the LED stays "on" then the problem is a bad ice maker. Unfortunately there is no on-line access to Australian models and/or parts list. You have to contact a local distributor.
Gene.
