When you first turn dryer on it makes heat. Within several minutes there is no heat and won't make heat. It is a gas dryer. Everything else works as it should.

It sounds like you have a bad gas valve coil. I always replace them as a set. Part number: AP3094251

What happens is as long as they are cold, the coil's winding makes contact. After it lites the first time the coil warms up and becomes an "open" circuit.
