Dryer works great except NO HEAT. The inside light is not blown (I checked the bulb in another appliance) yet does not work. Could that help in solving the heating problem. The dryer is not clogged and very clean. Please help.

Here are your parts includes a wiring diagram.

Sounds like you may have a power problem.

You will notice in the wiring diagram that the motor and timer run off of L1 to Neutral (120 volts).

But the heater requires the full 240 volts (L1 to L2). Also on this unit the light runs off of L2 to Neutral (120 volts)
So my guess would be that you have lost the l2 side of the line.

Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times.
Sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
If this does nothing, check the voltage at the plug
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts.
If OK
Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out
If OK
Check the power at the terminal strip.
Do this with the heater off and on.

Thank you soooooo much. Turning the breaker on and off slowly several times did not make a difference. I will take care of checking other recommendations later this week and let you know. Your advice is most appreciated - again thanks. McCarty
