Last week we went on vacation and turned the water off while we were gone. We emptied the ice maker into the cooler and left. We came home and turned the water back on but now it will not make ice. We have water in the dispenser but no ice. Help, Damsel in distress!:(

Help, Damsel in distress!:( Did you also raise the bail arm to turn off the ice maker ? I would think that any air developped in the system would have bled out and started making ice in a matter of a few hours. However, if you did not raise the bail arm to turn off the ice maker I would have to suspect a damaged water valve solenoid, from attempting to make ice every 15 minutes for a week. The water valve is located on the back of the machine and looks like the picture I have attached. (It is also the part number you may ned to order) Part number: AP3160649
