Go to the back of fridg and remove motherboard cover. Turn off power and remove J8,J9, J11 common connector. Stick a jumper wire in connector pins J11 and J8, plug in fridg, compressor should run. If so, replace motherboard and evaporator fan and thermistor. If no run, pry off the start relay from the side of the compressor and order a new one. If you have a meter it would help to confirm voltage to the compressor. Good luck on this sorry excuse for a fridg.

Hi Richappy: Thanks for your reply. I did what you said and jumpered J8 and J11 and the compressor started to run. Its pretty quiet so I put my hand on it and could feel it running. Also checked for power at the comp and it was zero. Both fans are running so would I still have to replace the evap fan? Thanks a bunch York

All indications point to a bad mother board. They recommend replacing the board and the evaporator/thermistor, comes as a kit. Good luck.

Hi : The parts diagram shows the evap fan motor w/o the thermister. Which one would I have to replace? Do you have a number for the kit? Appreciate the help York
