Simon. insert each probe into machine side plug, after setting meter to voltage, turn machine on, obtained reading of 123v, as instructed by certified tech on phone.

I called back when I realized it still wasn't working.

Of course, as I am not an electronic circuitry guy, I have no way of repairing it. Grrr! Soldering isn't the issue, it's figuring out which one is bad.

Gas valve does not open to allow gas to flow . What else can be checked.??? What did you find on your unit that was the problem ? Need help.
