My washer is leaking water but not too much which has started about a week and am anxious to get it fix or get another one.. My washer basket seems to hit around the sides during spinning and when it started fillin up while hte basket is slowing down from spinning, i have caught the that basket is not stayin where the water is filling in and beleive that is what causes the leaks. My husband checked the hoses and eveyrthing else. So it seems that the washer basket is very loose. what is that i can do to fix it and what part is it?

Check the balance spring ( AP2906091) and make sure it is still attached from the rear of the basket to the base plate. If it breaks or comes loose, the basket will lean forward due to the weight of the motor and yes, water will leak out the back when it fills after a spin cycle.
