Cannot say but if it is the motor/pump seal this should fix it.
NOTE: Be sure to add a couple quarts of water to the unit before firing it up. These pumps do not like to run when dry, they can burn up the pump seal.

Also a turkey baster or sponge comes in handy to get most of the water out of the unit before disconnecting. Saves on mopping up a mess. Remove the sump cover to get at it. Be careful as there is often broken glass in the sump.
