Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/16/2007(UTC) Posts: 3		My dishwasher is making a "growling" noise when washing. It doesn't always do it. it almost sounds like plastic gears that are not meshing properly. Any ideas what is causing this? :confused:

It should stop as soon as it'll go through. How old is the dishwasher? If it's less then 2 years, it's still under the manufacturer warranty. Gene.

Found the fix here: http://www.fixya.com/support/t233507-noisy_dishwasher Seems the problem is the water pipe that feeds the upper rack rotating sprayer. Usually a clip broken that secures the pipe to the bottom of the upper rack. I fixed mine with a plastic wire-bundle tie that can't rust. Hope this helps!
