You are welcome. I'm glad you were able to fix it and it was that simple.

Our whirlpool dishwasher is not draining either. Like someone mentioned above, we could push the cancel/drain button and it would drain but now it doesnt even drain when we do that. We have checked for clogs and kinks in the hoses and there is nothing wrong. It is less then 2 years old.

Remove the bottom panel and check if the drain pump works when it comes to drain. If it does not, remove the wires from the drain pump and check for 120 VAC between them while the control calls for drain. If the voltage reading is correct, replace the drain pump. If the voltage reading is incorrect, check the wires between the control board and the drain pump. If the wires are good, replace the control board. - The drain pump Part number: AP3865489

Model DU810SWPQ0. Will not drain. I have a disposal but its not new and the drains are clear. This problem just started this past weekend. The dishwasher is also making weird noises when it runs that I have not noticed before. May be time for a new one. This one is around 7 years old. Builder put it in, so I am sure it is cheap! I have pulled the bottom panel off but not sure what to do from here. I can push on the big drain line and it makes the water in the dishwasher "gurgle" and move. There is no air trap on top of the sink, but under the sink there is a pipe coming up and it has a vent in the top. I saw alot of posts where check valves were a problem, maybe that is my problem, just no clue where it is. Thanks for the help!

Yes it does wash, but since it will not drain, they are still dirty. I was looking under the sink for the drain line and I did not see it. It should be attached to the disposal, correct? I will look again when I get home, but from looking underneath the dishwasher, it looks like the drain is going down thru the floor.

OK. The drain line does go into the disposal. I unhooked it and nothing came out but it sounded like the dishwasher was pumping. The line is a see thru line and there is nothing blocked up in it.
