my dishwasher is leaving a couple inches of water in the bottom. just started since replacing garbage disposal. what can I try to fix it?

This may sound silly....but did you knock out the plug that the dishwasher drain ties to? Or...could be the drain hose itself is plugged.

our whirlpool diswasher is not draining the last couple inches of water. It just started after replacing our disposal.

the plug will be right inside of where you took the hose off to blow through it...

did that work for you ? (knocking out the garbage disposal plug) you most likely won't be able to blow through the hose until the drain valve opens during a cycle...
