Normal story, worked yesterday and doesnt work today. Wife went to cook a pizza and when we turn the knob to bake, the red like indicating its on did not light up and the oven never got warm. We tried the other positions, broil/clean/timedbake and the light worked but the oven never really got very warm. The stove top works fine. Dont know much about appliances so any help is appreciated.

The first thing I would do is visually inspect the Bake (lower) heating element. If there is nothing wrong then remove the screws secured the heating element, carefully pull it out as far as wires will go. Remove one of the wires from the heating element terminal and check the heating element for continuity. Replace if it's open. - The part number for the Bake heating element is AP2030968 Here are the break down diagrams for the Hotpoint range Model RB755GN6ADGene.
